A new study by Thomson ESI on the study of armed conflicts ranks Professor Erik Gartzke in the “Top 20 Overall” (16th) in terms of total cites, 9th in terms of productivity over the last decade (1996-2006) and 15th in terms of the average number of citations per article on the subject. The study involves over 5311 authors, 5258 articles, and 403 journals.
