Asia Policy, a publication of The National Bureau of Asian Research, has published a roundtable review discussion of Great Games, Local Rules: The New Great Power Contest in Central Asia (Oxford University Press, 2012), the newest work from Professor Alexander Cooley, Chair and Professor of Political Science at Barnard College and Member, SIWPS.  The roundtable features seven authors critiquing Professor Cooley’s work, followed by an essay response from Professor Cooley himself.
