Talia Abrahamson is a senior at Columbia College, majoring in both Russian Language & Culture and English. Her professional interests include US-Russia relations, the post-Soviet space and independent media. She has interned at the U.S. State Department with Embassy Moscow and the Office of Russian Affairs, supporting portfolios on Russia’s foreign ministry and human rights, and currently interns with the US Delegation to the United Nations Human Rights Council. At SIPA, Talia is an IGP student scholar. She is originally from Los Angeles, California, and has a longstanding interest in local journalism.
