Danielle Zheng is a senior at Barnard College, majoring in Philosophy and Human Rights and minoring in Economics and East Asian Studies. She is interested in maritime security, community-driven development, migration studies, and China-ASEAN relations. On campus, Danielle is a senior staff writer for Continents Human Rights Magazine, copy editor for Gadfly Magazine, and operations coordinator for Columbia Economic Review. She previously worked on state budget policy at the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families, interned on Senator Kevin Thomas’ campaign, and was a researcher for Singapore’s oldest think tank, the Singapore Institute of International Affairs. She enjoys spending her free time in the company of friends and food.
