Charlie Sagner is a senior in Columbia College studying Russian language and international politics. This fall, Charlie is interning for the Russia Studies Program at the Council on Foreign Relations, and working as a research assistant for the National Security Law Program at Columbia Law School. In addition to these roles, Charlie volunteers as a student liaison for the Department of Defense’s Irregular Warfare Center (IWC), and as a student mentor for Brave Generation. In the past, Charlie has interned at the National Defense University’s College of International Security Affairs (CISA), the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, and the Department of Defense. Charlie is also a member of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA). In his free time, Charlie enjoys photography, watching baseball, and reading nonfiction.
