Cam Silver is a Term Assistant Professor of Political Science at Barnard College for Fall 2022-2023. He was previously a Visiting Professor of American Politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point. (2021-2022). Silver is a foreign policy and cultural studies scholar. He examines the American foreign policy, queer politics, racial politics, social movements, pop culture, and genocide. Silver’s research is at the intersection of American Politics and International Relations. He holds a B.A. in History, an MA in Africana Studies, and a Ph.D. in Government and International Affairs from the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies at the University of South Florida ( 2021). Silver’s dissertation was titled “The Domestic Reality of Foreign Policy: The 1994 Clinton Administration Response to the Crises in Rwanda and Haiti.”
