Anthony Costanzo is a senior at the School of General Studies. Before studying at Columbia University, he served with the State Department as an embassy guard in Rome and Naples, Italy; Chengdu and Shenyang, China; Port-Au-Prince, Haiti; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Pursuing a double major in political science and East Asian studies, Anthony specializes in international strategy, decision-making, and Chinese foreign policy. He is also a fourth-year Mandarin student, having attended regular and intensive courses at Columbia University and National Cheng Kung University (Tainan, Taiwan) under the Critical Language Scholarship.
On campus, Anthony’s advocacy for student veterans underscores his demonstrated commitment to public and community service. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys martial arts, reading, and live jazz.
