Amy Watkins is a senior at Barnard College majoring in Political Science. This year she is starting her Master’s in International Affairs at SIPA through the 4+1 program. She spent this past summer interning for an environmental nonprofit, Ideas For Us, focusing on funding grassroots projects across the world. On campus, she writes for the Columbia Political Review. Her research interests include corruption and oligarchy, civil military relations, and surveillance technology. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, and yoga.
