Nancy Walbridge Collins, a Saltzman Institute Research Fellow, has written an opinion article for Forbes on the recently released film Zero Dark Thirty. The piece, co-written with Michele Malvesti of Yale University, explains the danger that disclosure of sensitive information poses to the efficacy and even lives of America’s intelligence operatives. Drs. Collins and Malvesti, while recognizing the importance of transparency in the government, call for clearer and stronger protection for classified information throughout the U.S. government.
