Saltzman Affiliate Dana Burde has completed the pilot research for her project, “Protecting Children from War and Ensuring their Prospects for the Future: Education in the Context of Crisis and Transition.” The purpose of the project is to explore and assess educational services delivered to civilian populations affected by war.  It examines the effects of nongovernmental organization (NGO)-supported education on adolescent welfare, especially regarding protection from violence and improved life chances.
