Professor Johannes Urpelainen has recently joined Columbia University as a Member of the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. Urpelainen received his Ph.D from the University of Michigan. His research focuses on international cooperation and institutions.
