On May 3, 2023, Anne Nelson moderated a panel at UNESCO’s 30th anniversary celebration of World Press Freedom Day. Some sixty journalists, UN delegates, and media development donors and experts gathered to discuss the challenges faced by displaced and exiled journalists, and how best to form a united response.
