On September 19, SIWPS Member Austin Long joined his colleagues Ben Connable and Jonah Blank to co-author a piece for CNN’s Global Public Square. The piece, “A smarter way to stop Syria WMD attacks,” discusses possible alterations to the Authorization for the Use of Military Force currently before Congress, and how it can still be useful even if the West pursues a diplomatic solution to the Syrian chemical weapons issue.
