Jillianne Zhang is a senior at Columbia College double majoring in Political Science and Computer Science-Mathematics. As both a Hong Kong and Shanghai native, her academic interests lie in the gamut of Hong Kong politics and Sino-American relations. Most recently, in pursuit of her interests, she spent a semester at the University of Hong Kong under their faculty of Politics and Public Administration. Aside from that, Jillianne has also interned with think tanks like Our Hong Kong Foundation and Asia Global Institute, where she conducted research on Hong Kong and greater China’s changing socio-political landscapes. In the future, she hopes to work in Hong Kong’s political sphere.
